DO YOU NOT KNOW WHAT GOD WANTS FROM YOU?!

In many teachings and churches I’ve been to, I have come to realize that many people don’t know what God wants. I have come to realize what he truly wants and continued to find out more. I have gone to 3 different churches, visited 1 and only one have gave me the true meaning what God wants from me.

First church I have attended to was the Presbyterian Church which was good but it wasn’t right for me. Even though I learn the bible stories and heard the lectures but no one really made it clear why I was here to worship God and the way we did? We sang and had bible studies but the things they told me didn’t make sense and it was boring. There was something I was missing. I asked myself what it that is missing is.

The next church that I went to was the Catholic Church which I went to for 4 years 5 days a week. I went there and I was young at the time so I was not sure why it was so different than the old church I went to. We stand, sat, and repeated the same words over and over again. At the time I asked myself why we are repeating things. Then I was told or more like yelled that I shouldn’t be taking communion and it was my first time being in a catholic church. They made me memorize the “Our Father who are in heaven” prayer. Then we prayed the rosary which is more repeating or chanting almost to a point that it is meaningless.

Couple years later I’ve visited the Ernest Angley’s church which kind of reminded me of the other churches I’ve attended. Similar things were singing, gathering money well lots of money, and preaching in a way that we can’t ask question afterward. That is one of my biggest things about churches that people attend and leave without question like everybody understood everything he said. The new thing I’ve seen was speaking in tongues which personally I don’t get it. What I saw was just people mumbling and shaking. One thing I was looking forward to was the healing which is the smack on the forehead.

During my high school I met this bible group called word which was a bible home church in stow. It was a bit different than every other church because they didn’t have a building. They Met at other people’s home and taught the bible. I’ve learned lots of things before I have gone to this home church but they taught that no other churches have taught and it made sense. After 3 years they have gone over the bible thoroughly and answered 90% of my questions. They have work with me and helped me to understand the bible that the last thing we did before I accepted Christ was reading John 3 Jesus Teaches Nicodemus. It is the story of Nicodemus who was a very knowledgeable person about the bible. He did not understand how is it possible to be born again. Jesus said “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.” From that moment that I realized that it doesn’t know what Jesus has done it is the understanding what the bible has to say. From there he is able to have the wisdom to understand the bible because he has the Holy Spirit in him. Born of Water is Baptism and it should be a personal choice for that person and no one else.

The bible shows what God wants from us and what he wants us to do. The first question I asked was what was missing? God wants relationship and one example is Rev 3:20Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.”

I also learned that Catholic Church was wrong to keep repeating prayers like in Matt 6:7 “And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words”

Ernest Angley’s church which red flags when up and he kept asking to donate money like 10 times and the bible says in Matt 6:24 “No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.”

My first blog ever

Well, for weeks now Tom has been bugging me to make a blog and write a blog. At first i didn’t know what blog was other than a place where you write but didn’t know what to write. so he said just write about anything and what you thought about it.

I guess I’ll start on a saturday when Keith was teaching about the power of God and what he can do. I don’t really remember the story because it’s been about 3 weeks since then, but it was about a man who was very smart and didn’t believe in God. Then I forget what the man did that God took his mind away and he acted like an animal and ate grass. Soon afterward God gave his mind back and then and there he believe in God and there is such thing and he was much more powerful than he will ever be.

From that point on I relized something that I haven’t before. God gave us these gifts to use to spread and if we miss use it he can take them away easy as taking a candy from a baby. Even the smallest thing we do we need God’s help because without it we would be nothing or can’t do anything.

Not too long ago Tom and I had a discipleship and we went over Body life and chapter 6 was amazing because once I read and discussed about it, things made more sense about our situation. Chapter 6 was about being plug into the source. I love how this book discribes it. every thing in the house is powered by something that is from the electricy and it comes from the power plant. Well think about how we work. We are able to stay up 4 or 5 in the morning and we don’t even feel tired. In a sense we are powered by God with his love in a relationship that we keep relating with our brothers and sister in christ. Like times when people are in a conversation and relating we don’t want to stop talking or listening, we just want this to do on forever to get to know each other.

Body Life is the best book i have read so far and I hate reading. We can’t do anything without God’s help or love because we are powered by him.

Hello world!

Welcome to Neoblogs.org. This is your first post. Edit or delete it, then start blogging!

There are many options available to you as you customize and work with your new blog, but don’t get confused! Begin with the simplest things. These are the basic links to manage your Blog:

Extra Functionality: I installed a few basic plugins to make your writing more powerful. For example:

  • Footnotes: whenever you place text inside double-parenthesis, that text will become a footnote, like this:1
  • EasyTube: you can place a Youtube or Google video in your post using this syntax: (BUT: use brackets [ ] and not carets < > … I couldn’t post the syntax without creating the video!) I posted a Drischoll video so you can see what it looks like.
  • Cache: your site is “cached,” which means changes may not show up immediately.
  • Podcasting: You may wish to post songs, teachings or whatever. It’s not complicated. Look at Jeff’s Site.
  • Anti-Spam: we use a great spam-catcher. We’ve never been spammed on any of our sites where it’s installed. But you may want to review your comments here.
  • Importing from Bloggar and other sites. Post a comment on the Webmaster’s Blog if you want help importing from another Blog place…
